Positive Behaviour and Wellbeing or PBW is an evidence-based whole school approach to establish and sustain the social culture needed for schools to be effective learning environments.
It is a school-wide approach to help support, define, teach and reinforce positive behaviours of ALL students. The school-wide approach to discipline focuses on building a safe and positive environment in which all students can learn.
PBW is implemented in our school and has been demonstrated to reduce discipline problems and increase time for instruction.
PBW helps to make our school a better places to work and learn. It does so by giving our school the tools to build comprehensive, school-wide systems that support academic and social-emotional and behavioural learning for all students.
