Choosing the right school for your child is an important decision.
We are often asked how small schools work and what it looks like in the classroom. We are happy to answer all your questions and ensure you fall in love with our small school, community spirit and the unique programs such Gardening with our Chappy each Friday
If you are interested in choosing Comet State School for your child, please call the office for an enrolment appointment with the Principal. We like to offer a full tour of our school and explain our approach to teaching and learning so you are able to see a whole picture of the way our wonderful learning community works.
Comet State School acknowledges the Ghungalu country on which we are respectful, responsible and safe to the land that we stand, live, learn, play, and are educated on.
We are supportive of all students and the small number of children allows us to individualise our approaches to best suit your child. During the enrolment process we like to meet your child and speak with you about your child's strengths, learning styles, social capabilities and your goals for them. This allows us to ensure we are able to provide the best support to your child from their very first day of school.
Comet State School welcomes all students. You do not have to live in the local area to attend our great school.
Please bring the following with you to your enrolment appointment:
